On Sunday night, as he was arriving home, unknown individuals murdered Israel Ramirez Peralta, the municipal agent of the Chatina community of San Marcos Zacatepec, which belongs to the municipality of Santa Catarina Juquila, Oaxaca.
Local authorities confirmed the crime of the municipal agent, although it is still unknown who or who took his life.
Local residents lamented this murder and pointed out that the municipal police arrived late to the call.
The municipal president of Santa Catarina Juquila, the Morena party member Marco Antonio García Palacios, lamented the death of the municipal agent and sent his solidarity to his family.
He said that Israel Ramirez Peralta was "a man of service, committed to his people and to the well-being of his town".
